Anita Walicki graduated from McGill University in 1981 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Her professional career began with two years at a national consulting engineering firm known for transportation and land use studies.
In 1983, she transitioned to corporate real estate management, and for the next 25 years she led countless apartment complexes, retail, commercial and industrial properties and executed numerous operational turnarounds. Her accomplishments included spearheading Metropolitan Structures' Nuns Island portfolio through a massive restructuration leading to a successful sale, repositioning the La Cité complex and creating the LaCité Plus furnished apartment program, converting the massive 5800 St.Denis industrial building into commercial usage, and managing the iconic Olympic Village.
In 2008, ready for another challenge, Anita joined a top tier international search firm and aimed to fill a void in the Montreal market by establishing staffing services intended exclusively for Quebec's real estate and building construction industries.
In 2014, after six years of professional success with large agencies, Anita Walicki founded RAW Recruitment Inc., with the intention of providing her trademark turn-key service under her own brand.
